Kermit Clever came into our lives October 21, 2011. We rescued him from a shelter in Cleveland, OH. Our daughters, Annabelle and Addison were little and didn't want to change his name. So, "Kermit the Dog" is what we called him. Plus, mommy loves frogs, so it seemed meant to be. He loved running around the farm, getting in the pond for a swim on a hot day or to avoid going in the house because he'd rather stay outside. He loved going to the woods with dad to cut wood, and wander around. He would never go too far and then lay close by and keep watch. He loved helping mom in the kitchen, hoping for a little taste. He also loved the talks with mom, usually followed by a treat of some sort. He was always watching & listening to make sure his humans were safe. We had 14+ years of him watching over us. He will be dearly missed as there will never be another like him!
