Little Johnny crossed the rainbow bridge on June 14th. Back in the summer of 2010, while walking through our neighborhood in Mt. Gilead, we noticed this little orange kitten following us. This itty-bitty little orange fur ball followed us several blocks. We tried to shoo him away, last thing that we needed was another cat. He was "purrsistant" and continued until we reached home. Of course, we could not just leave him outside, so he wiggled his way into our lives. He grew to be as big as a medium sized dog, but never lost his little kitten mew. He also never learned that he was way larger than a lap kitten. He loved to cuddle under your chin, on your arm or in your arms while you slept. The last few years he was my comfort and constant companion. He sat with me on the couch and followed me to bed each night and made sure to snuggle close to my chest under my chin. He slept with me for most of his life and made me able to sleep easy, I may never sleep easy again. Johnny was a more than a pet, he was my reason for happiness. Farewell my friend.
